Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial.
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; files Federal and State motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and depositions, which may include attending trials and hearings.
Manage case files and maintain document databases.
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology.
Proficiency in legal research and writing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.
