Consilio LOD ELS is recruiting for an experienced Litigation Paralegal – Boston office of global law firm with an excellent, established Paralegal program designed for professional growth.
Salary range: $74,880.00 – $, salary depends on experience, plus OT and great benefits
Work side by side with attorneys on all stages of complex litigation: inception discovery, trial, post-trial findings, appeals.
BA/BS required plus 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience from a law firm, including strong cite-checking, proofreading, and blue booking skills.
General responsibilities
Compile and organize documents to assist in discovery, motions practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
Coordinate, organize, and manage large scale document collections.
Monitor court docket for assigned cases and manage internal case file.
Bluebook, cite check, and proofread various court filings and legal memoranda.
Perform factual research and prepare written summaries of compiled information.
Coordinate with vendors and litigation support regarding all aspects of eDiscovery.
Prepare deposition notices and subpoenas; organize, maintain, and prepare witness interview or deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries.
Assist with drafting pleadings and motions, including gathering
and organizing exhibits and e-filing all court documents and coordinating service of process.
Assist in all aspects of trial preparation and attendance at trial.
Required
:
2-3 years of complex litigation paralegal experience.
Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice.
Preferred
:
Relativity and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Familiarity with electronic filing in federal and state courts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
