Job Overview
Petruccelli, Martin & Haddow, LLP is accepting applications for the position of Litigation Paralegal. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Education Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or
· Associate’s degree and significant paralegal training or experience
Core Competencies:
· Proficiency in MSOffice and Adobe Pro
· Proficiency with other industry-standard software
· Experience with / understanding of medical terminology
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent document management skills
· High-level abilities to organize, prioritize, and attend to detail
The person hired to fill this position will work with lawyers in the firm during all phases of the litigation process, from initiation of a case through discovery, trial, and appeals. Helping lawyers to prepare for depositions, mediations, and trial; assisting clients in responding to discovery; managing voluminous document production; communicating directly with outside vendors (e.g., court reporters, expert witnesses, consultants); and more will all be responsibilities of the position.
The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week x 52 weeks per year). Pay range for the position is $33.00 – $37.00 per hour.
