Working Pattern: Hybrid available

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Bexleyheath.

This role offers exposure to a varied caseload within a supportive team, with genuine opportunities for progression into a Senior Paralegal / Trainee Solicitor / Fee Earner position. The firm promotes a collaborative culture and offers hybrid working to support work-life balance.

The Role

You Will Support Fee Earners And Solicitors Across a Broad Range Of Civil Litigation, Dispute Resolution, And Property Litigation Matters, Including

  • Assisting with case management from instruction to resolution
  • Drafting legal documents, witness statements, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Preparing court bundles, trial bundles, and hearing documents
  • Conducting legal research and case analysis
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, barristers, courts, and third parties
  • Supporting court proceedings, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with CPR (Civil Procedure Rules)
  • Handling a small caseload independently where appropriate

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant
  • Strong background in Civil Litigation, Dispute Resolution, or Property Litigation
  • Experience in Debt Recovery, Landlord & Tenant, Contract Disputes, or Commercial Litigation (desirable)
  • Strong drafting skills across legal documentation and court documents
  • Familiarity with case management systems and legal software
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently and within a team
