Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Court Bailiff. As a Bailiff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining order and security within the courtroom. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of all individuals present and to enforce courtroom rules and procedures.
Duties
– Maintain order and security within the courtroom
– Enforce courtroom rules and procedures
– Provide assistance to judges, attorneys, and other court personnel
– Escort defendants, witnesses, and jurors to and from the courtroom
– Manage the entry and exit of individuals into the courtroom
– Maintain accurate records of court proceedings
– Prepare and distribute court documents as required
– Assist with the execution of court orders, such as arrests or evictions
Requirements
– Valid Missouri POST License
– Must possess a high school diploma or GED
– Valid Driver’s License
– Background check
– Meet vision, hearing and physical agility standards
