Litigation Paralegal

Our client is a leading mid-sized law firm with offices around the tri-state and Florida. They are currently seeking a Full-time Commercial Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of litigation experience. The right candidate will be familiar with and have experience in the discovery process, cite-checking/Sherardizing and E-Filing in federal & state courts.

Responsibilities Include:

Drafts cover letters and other correspondence.

Organizes, manages and updates client files/pleadings (electronic and paper copies).

Indexes and summarizes documents and depositions.

Performs basic legal and factual research (including electronic and paper copies).

Discovery and substantive motion support, such as drafting and preparing, as commensurate with skill set

Requirements:

At least 5+ years relevant experience.

Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Keen attention to detail.

Ability to work with large document intensive cases.

Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel and ADOBE Acrobat Professional.

Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.

Hybrid Hours:

Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with the flexibility to work overtime when needed

Minimum 3 days a week in office

2 days a week remotely

The annualized salary range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
