A leading Texas-based law firm with national practices serving clients across the country is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their Uptown Dallas office. The firm focuses on exceeding their clients expectations by providing innovative solutions to their business and legal opportunity and challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Experience preparing and filing pleadings.
Drafting client correspondence.
Performing document review.
Assisting with discovery.
Maintaining a calendar of docket events and deadlines.
Assisting at trial.
Utilizing presentation technology.
Will also manage a diverse caseload.
Must know Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
Texas litigation is preferred within a law firm.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 4+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
One of the following criteria is preferred: (a) Bachelor’s Degree; (b) Paralegal Certificate; (c) Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies; or (d) Certified Legal Assistant.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet strict deadlines.
Superior oral and written communication skills are essential.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated individual who possess excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys a team-oriented working environment.
Must be able to target 125/monthly billables.
Must have flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
