Global Services Legal (GSL) team is a strategic partner and product counsel to Accenture’s service lines, i.e. Strategy & Consulting, Song, Technology and Operations. GSL’s mission statement to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” We function as the integrator between various other parts of the Legal team, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business.

SENIOR MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
Shape strategic decisions impacting Industry X, focusing on supporting senior leadership in the Americas and its go-to-market strategy.
Guide new Industry X solutions to market, ensuring legal compliance and appropriate risk mitigations (contractual, operational, technical).
Develop guidance and guardrails to enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently support client transactions.
Team with Accenture’s regulatory and compliance counsel to synthesize and apply regulatory and compliance advice, including anticipating the impact of regulatory changes on the Industry X business.
Play a key role in escalations and, in collaboration with colleagues from Quality and Enterprise Risk Management, continuously improve Industry X’s overall governance and risk management
Work with stakeholders across Corporate Functions to evolve Accenture policies and procedures to accommodate the requirements of the Industry X business.
Help evaluate prospective acquisition targets on behalf of the Industry X business, conduct due diligence, and shape post-merger integration strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a corporate or law firm setting, including advising Business stakeholders on the development of new product or service offerings
JD and licensed to practice in at least one jurisdiction
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should have a strong understanding of core legal issues relating to Industry X
Applications of cutting-edge technologies, such as digital twins, Internet of Things/edge computing, cloud computing, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence/GenAI
Product liability in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts
Applicable regulatory landscapes and their effect on product and service qualification, development & launch (e.g., for hardware, embedded systems, and/or software)
Risk identification, analysis, and management relating to engineering, manufacturing, operational technology, and infrastructure & capital projects (i.e. the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry), as distinct from information technology services and solutions
Review, drafting and negotiation of agreements, including understanding the impacts of liability/responsibility allocation, intellectual property and data privacy
Deal shaping and evaluation of new commercial models
Developing trusted relationships with senior Business stakeholders
Ability to build a sense of belonging in a team and establish connections and a sense of common purpose inside the larger Accenture Legal department
Resilient, flexible approach to problem solving; capable of keeping things in perspective
Focus on analysis of the business, guidance to the right business and legal teams, industrialization of processes
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
