Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our family law practice. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a strong ability to assist in all aspects of family law cases.
Responsibilities:
1) Support attorneys in all phases of family law litigation, including discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation.
2) Draft legal documents, correspondence, and case summaries.
3) Organize and maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines.
4) Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy.
5) Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally.
6) Ensure excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
Strong legal administrative experience with a focus on family law
Proficient in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
Excellent writing and document review skills
Familiarity with legal case management and document management systems
Ability to conduct thorough research and maintain organized files
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with transcription and proofreading legal documents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
