IP Litigation Paralegal – New York, NY – Base Salary up to $110k + OT – Hybrid
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Paralegal to join their high performing team. Experience attending at least one patent trial is required.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing exhibits for motions, court submissions, and depositions, including drafting Notices of Appearance, trial exhibit lists, deposition designations, etc.
Assisting in organizing and maintaining documents in both paper and electronic filing systems
Supporting attorneys in preparing for oral arguments and other trial-related tasks
Performing administrative duties such as managing case calendars, tracking hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and coordinating logistics
Maintaining indexes for pleadings and discovery documents
Preparing electronic binders, coordinate printing, and ensuring timely delivery
Organizing exhibits, evidence, documents, briefs, and appendices
Filing pleadings with the court clerk and attending trial/arbitration in NY or out-of-state.
Serving as a liaison between trial teams and internal/external third parties
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of litigation experience
Prior experience working on large, complex litigation matters is essential, including attending at least one patent trial
Willingness to work overtime and travel intermittently for trial support.
