COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are a property tax lien purchasing company. We purchase liens on properties for back taxes that are auctioned off by the county. If the lien is not paid, we file for ownership of the properties.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of Office Manager, assists the Manager in the day to day administration of the office through compiling, researching, organizing, tracking and monitoring of real estate parcels; provides general secretarial and receptionist services as assigned.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizes and maintains files. Ensures paperwork is complete by deadlines.
Attend sales as a bidder/buyer.
Performs data entry with accuracy and efficiency
Familiar with and regular use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access)
Physically inspecting properties; changing locks; taking pictures
Answering phones, taking messages or answering inquiries on properties
Preparing court documents, getting court dates and filing within online filing systems
Perform and comprehend a chain of title on real estate parcels
Extended periods of travel to various counties for sales, research, filing documents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A valid driver’s license
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to obtain Notary Public.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
One year of secretarial experience
Must be organized, detailed oriented and possess effective communication skills.
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
