RedLaw have partnered with a prestigious US Law Firm based in London who are looking for a Paralegal to join their highly ranked Litigation team on an initial 6 month FTC basis.
Working within a close-knit supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic paralegal professional who is looking for a new challenge at a fantastic firm.
Responsibilities:
Play a key role in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitration proceedings.
Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, and precedents relevant to litigation and arbitration.
Support the management of the disclosure process, including document review, drafting requests and responses, and organizing materials for production.
Provide valuable assistance during pre-trial conferences and trial preparations, ensuring a smooth process for the team.
Assist in drafting and filing important legal documents such as claim forms, defenses, and arbitration-related paperwork.
To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally have completed the LPC or SQE 1 and possess at least one year of paralegal experience, preferably with a focus on litigation and/or arbitration. A solid understanding of commercial litigation and arbitration procedures, as well as proficiency with legal research tools and disclosure processes, is essential.
