Litigation Paralegal – Los Angeles (Hybrid)
I am recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive paralegal to support a dynamic team of 5-6 attorneys across labor & employment, bankruptcy, and general litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case management, legal research, and client interviews.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Support all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, and e-filing.
Utilize eDiscovery databases such as Opus2 or Relativity to manage litigation documents.
Maintain litigation calendars and assist in deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
Conduct legal cite-checking, fact-checking, and proofreading of legal documents.
Organize and manage case files, exhibits, and evidence.
Communicate with attorneys daily and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
3-4 years of California litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Experience with eDiscovery platforms (Opus2, Relativity, etc.).
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing workload.
Trial experience and attending court appearances/depositions a plus.
Additional Details
Compensation: $80K – $95K DOE (nonexempt).
Hybrid role – flexibility required for in-office training and department needs.
Firm-paid parking for LA office employees.
Collaborative work environment with daily attorney interaction.
