Cobb Cole, a well-established, multi-attorney firm in Daytona Beach, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for our office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation. This is a full-time position, competitive salary and benefits package offered.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have 5 years experience as a full-time Litigation Paralegal
Must have experience with Westlaw or Lexis Nexis research platforms
Must have 5 years of Civil Litigation experience, including trial preparation
Must have knowledge of Local Rules, Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, Florida Statutes and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word), time entry, legal management software
Previous experience in a fast-paced law office preferred
Paralegal degree, Florida Registered Paralegal and/or certification preferred
The ideal candidate for this position should be able to manage case files, including tracking and complying with Court deadlines. They should also be able to draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, production, trial exhibits and other court filings in Circuit Court and Federal Court.

Positive, upbeat personality and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to analyze court documents
Must be able to multitask and prioritize in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
