Litigation Paralegal – Law Firm (Hybrid – Downtown Pittsburgh)
Full-Time | Direct-Hire | Up to $85,000 salary + Bonus & Great Benefits
Our recruiting firm is representing a respected national law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their downtown Pittsburgh office. This is a permanent, direct-hire position offering strong benefits, a collaborative team environment, and hybrid work flexibility after initial training.
About the Opportunity: The firm is looking for a proactive paralegal with strong organizational, communication, and litigation support skills to join their collegial team. The role will initially require 5 days a week onsite for training, after which a hybrid schedule (3 days in / 2 days remote) will be available.
Key Responsibilities
Manage heavy calendaring, docketing, and e-Filing in state and federal courts.
Proactively maintain attorney schedules and track deadlines.
Draft and prepare litigation documents, including discovery, pleadings, and case management materials.
Conduct legal research, analysis, writing, and cite checking.
Assist with client intake, engagement documentation, and internal reporting.
Collaborate with attorneys and billing department to support client billing processes.
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive case information.
Participate in special projects and support case teams as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred; real estate litigation a plus; tax experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience) preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and legal technologies (Westlaw, Litify, Docrio, Chrome River).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Professional, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with e-Filing, docket management, legal research, and drafting.
