LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT | PLAINTIFF PERSONAL INJURY
PAY: $30–$35 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
TUSH LAW LTD. is seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant to support our plaintiff-side personal injury litigation team. This entry-level position is ideal for a motivated and highly organized candidate with 0–2 years of legal experience who wants to develop a career in civil litigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, format, file, serve, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- File documents with California state and federal courts
- Assist with preparing and responding to written discovery
- Maintain attorney calendars and track court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other appearances
- Schedule depositions, client appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial documents
- Request and organize medical records, billing records, and other case-related documents
- Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, medical providers, and vendors
- Maintain organized electronic case files and assist attorneys and paralegals with case management
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education or relevant experience will also be considered
- 0–2 years of legal assistant or law-office experience
- Personal injury or civil litigation experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with California court procedures, CCP deadlines, legal calendaring, and electronic filing systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage a high-volume workflow
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new technology and case-management systems
- Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
