We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Title Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient processes for our clients by pursuing releases, drafting important documents, conducting title research, and monitoring senior lien sales. You will also be responsible for tracking funds and requesting checks, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Description of Duties:

Title Research: Conduct research to identify encumbrances, liens, or issues affecting the title and gather documentation for resolution.
Curative Work: Pursue releases, resolve title defects, and coordinate with title companies, clients, and other stakeholders to address title issues.
Drafting Documents: Prepare legal documents, such as deeds, releases, and affidavits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, title companies, and other parties to obtain and verify necessary information and documentation.
Administrative Support: Organize records, track progress on curative tasks, and ensure timely completion of title-related activities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Attention to Detail: Accuracy in reviewing and preparing documents to support title processes.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written communication to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify and resolve title issues.
Knowledge of Real Estate Transactions: Familiarity with title research, curative processes, and documentation.
Proficiency in Technology: Competence with software and tools for title research and document preparation.
Teamwork: Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external parties.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position typically ranges from $19 – $21 hourly, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate’s specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.

Work Schedule:

The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.

Corporate office environment with a professional setting, characterized by a quiet to moderate noise level. Employees may work in individual or shared workspaces, with standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones. Occasional meetings, collaborative discussions, and business activities may contribute to variations in noise levels.
