Job Summary
Transactional real estate, business and zoning law firm in New Jersey seeking an experienced and dedicated paralegal to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as business purchases. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional with a deep understanding of real estate and transactional law to take a leading role in every closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of residential and commercial real estate closings from start to finish, including document preparation, title review, and coordination with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
Oversee business purchase transactions, including contract preparation, due diligence, and closing logistics.
Assist in preparing and reviewing closing documents, settlement statements, and other transactional paperwork.
Communicate directly with clients, real estate agents, title companies, and other involved parties to ensure smooth deal flow and address any issues that arise.
Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation related to transactions.
Ensure deadlines are met and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Provide general administrative support as needed in transactional matters.
Qualifications:
Speaks fluent English and Spanish
Strong understanding of real estate contracts, title work, settlement statements, and other related documents.
Proven ability to manage a transaction from initiation through to closing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
