Commercial Litigation Attorney
Location: Owings Mills, MD (In-Person)
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

We represent a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions, corporations, and trade creditors across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
We are seeking a Commercial Litigation & Collections Attorney to join our growing practice in the Commercial Law Department in our Owings Mills, MD office. This is an in-person position that requires regular court appearances and direct client interaction. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys on commercial litigation, collections, and bankruptcy matters.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in Maryland state and federal courts for commercial litigation, collections, and creditor’s rights matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
Attend hearings, trials, and mediations.
Conduct legal research and case analysis.
Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to manage case strategy and workflow.
Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws governing collections and creditor’s rights.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Maryland (admission to D.C. and/or Virginia is a plus).
Candidates should have three (3) years of experience with litigation and experience in commercial is preferred, but not required.
Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills.
Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Comfortable handling a high-volume caseload and appearing in court regularly.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year.
