– Litigation Defense Associate Attorney (Hybrid in Madison, NJ) (Full-Time)
Location:
Hybrid schedule in Madison, New Jersey
Salary: $140K – $170K, depending on JD year
Must Haves:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
- 2+ years of experience with personal injury and premises liability
The Position
My client is seeking a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to join a team of exceptional professionals in a collaborative environment to represent sophisticated clients facing complex legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice and experience in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts.
- 2+ years of experience with personal injury and premises liability
- Experience in commercial litigation and civil litigation is a plus.
- Experience with motion practice, report writing, discovery, and depositions preferred.
- Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in maintaining billable hours goals.
