Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Counsel at EquiLaw (Fiji). The Litigation Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court proceedings, negotiating settlements, and handling legal issues related to commercial disputes, employment matters, and property transactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice
Valid Practicing Certificate
Minimum 1 year PQE as a litigation lawyer
Court representation and negotiation skills
Experience in providing legal advice
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Experience in litigation and dispute resolution
Knowledge of Fiji’s legal systems and regulations
Understanding of commercial and business law
