This is a part-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant at Turner, Huguet, Adams & Farr. We are seeking a detail-orientated and personable Legal Assistant who will provide essential support to our attorneys and clients, ensuring smooth office operations and efficient case management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, providing administrative assistance, and supporting attorneys in a variety of legal tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing communication with clients, scheduling appointments and maintaining case files.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience in a legal or professional office environment is highly desirable
Previous experience with preparing estate planning documents is highly desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Professional and courteous demeanor
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.19 – $27.96 per hour
