ATR Law Group, is seeking a full-time Immigration Paralegal who speaks Spanish with a MINIMUM of three (3-5) years’ experience in USCIS Immigration processes (MUST) and Removal Proceedings (a PLUS). Who is professional, organized, outgoing, dependable, bright, and has a positive attitude. The applicant will work directly with Attorneys. Position provides a great working environment. Must know how to provide great customer service.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Immigration Paralegal or similar role REQUIRED:
Fluent Spanish communication skills;
Knowledge on using the MY CASE software program (a PLUS, but not required);
Knowledge of Family Based Petitions and EOIR/Removal Proceedings, a must;
Professional English written and verbal communication skills; A MUST;
Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately
Proficient computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Internet, etc.
Excellent customer service/communication skills; pleasant telephone voice: A MUST;
Superior proofreading skills;
Professional demeanor and office etiquette;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize; A MUST
Detail oriented and efficient;
Self-motivated and ability to take initiative;
Must be a team player and be willing to take direction.
MUST have positive attitude and be pleasant with clients and team members

Duties:

Preparing all forms of relief and knowing the difference between these forms of relief;
Managing Attorneys’ court appearances in MY CASE Calendar;
Preparing Attorney for Immigration USCIS Cases
Experience and Knowledge of USCIS/NVC
Experience with working on petitions such as, DACA, PIP, AOS, Consular Process, VAWA, U-Visa, EAD’s, RFE’s, Nat’s, LPR’s, etc.
Answering telephones, comfortable being on the phone with potential clients
Communicating with Attorneys on status of cases through meticulous notes
General administrative tasks including accounts receivable
Scanning, photocopying, and filing out documents
Proofreading documents
Client data entry
Other miscellaneous clerical and office admin/assistant tasks
Prepare and maintain case files, including organizing and managing documents
Draft legal documents, such as affidavits, declarations, and correspondence
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status
Coordinate with government agencies, courts, and other parties involved in the immigration process
Schedule appointments, hearings, and interviews for attorneys and clients
Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards
