Boutique family law firm is looking for a litigation attorney with at least 3 years litigation experience to join its growing practice. Strong writing and research skills a must. Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, writing skills and an excitement to litigate. We provide a friendly and relaxed work environment. Must be licensed to practice law in Connecticut. Starting pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients and assist attorneys
- Maintain client relationships
- Ability to handle a litigation from intake to conclusion
- Legal research
- Court appearances, both remote and in person
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Discovery review and analysis
- Draft motions and other documents necessary for trial
- Efficiency is a must
Qualifications
- JD, bar passage and admitted to practice in Connecticut
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong legal knowledge and willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
