Litigation Attorney – Commercial / Civil Litigation Jobs in Remote at StageYou, Inc.
StageYou, Inc. is recruiting experienced Litigation Attorneys for select opportunities with leading U.S. law firms, startups, corporations, and other organizations hiring legal professionals.
We are seeking accomplished litigation attorneys with strong experience managing civil and commercial matters through the litigation lifecycle. These opportunities are well suited to attorneys who are confident in handling cases independently, developing litigation strategy, working directly with clients, and managing matters from initial pleadings and discovery through negotiation, settlement, hearings, or trial.
Candidates may come from a range of litigation backgrounds, including commercial disputes, insurance defense, real estate, employment, healthcare, professional liability, construction, consumer/warranty, financial services, or other complex civil litigation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with clients, partners, and legal teams
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other substantive legal documents
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage written discovery, document review, and case preparation
- Appear in state and/or federal court for hearings, conferences, mediations, and other proceedings
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and provide clear, practical advice to clients
- Maintain direct client communication and ownership of case progress
- Prepare matters for arbitration or trial where required
- Work effectively across multiple cases while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience practicing as a litigation attorney
- Strong background in civil, commercial, or related litigation
- Demonstrated experience with pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and depositions
- Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage matters and exercise sound legal judgment
- Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing deadlines
- J.D. or equivalent legal qualification meeting the requirements for admission to the applicable U.S. bar
- Admission and good standing with a U.S. state bar
Specific opportunities may require admission in the relevant state and may have additional jurisdiction, practice-area, or experience requirements.

- Commercial litigation
- Complex civil litigation
- Insurance defense

- Professional liability / medical malpractice
- Construction litigation
- Consumer warranty / lemon law
- Financial services litigation
- Trial or arbitration experience
- First-chair or significant hearing experience
- Independent management of a litigation docket
Work Arrangement
Work arrangements and locations vary by opportunity and may include on-site, hybrid, or remote positions. Candidates will only be considered for opportunities compatible with their bar admission, geographic availability, and applicable licensing requirements.
