Corporate litigation and transactional law firm, located in the Financial District is seeking a high-performing associate attorney to join our commercial litigation, real estate and tort defense group. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience with strong research and drafting skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, an ability to manage multiple projects and be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
Responsibilities include:
Manage caseload from inception to conclusion;
Drafting motions and memoranda;
Appear in Court for conferences and oral arguments;
Conduct and defend depositions;
Drafting and responding to discovery demands;
Conduct risk assessments, counsel clients, draft status reports; and
Negotiate settlements.
