Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team part time (conversion to full time possible). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including creditors rights and finance law, debt collection law and trial work on debt collection cases. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
Provide legal counsel to clients on matters related to family law, estate planning, personal injury law, and environmental law.
Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery, etc.
Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and bench trials.
Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications.
Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation of clients’ interests.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases or the firm’s practice areas.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, Indiana.
Strong knowledge of family law, estate planning, personal injury law, environmental law, and securities law is preferred.
Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools.
Excellent legal drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Previous experience in a legal administrative role is a plus but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
