Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Attorney to join our team. This role will focus on high-level commercial real estate finance and transactional matters, representing both lenders and borrowers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and joint ventures. Experience in leveraged transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Manage complex commercial real estate finance and transactional matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and joint venture agreements.
Provide expert legal counsel to both lenders and borrowers.
Conduct due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviews.
Collaborate with a team to structure and negotiate deals.
Communicate directly with clients, offering strategic legal guidance..
Qualifications:
Strong background in commercial real estate finance and transactional law.
Experience handling real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
Bar admission in New Jersey (required).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong academic credentials and the ability to handle sophisticated legal matters.
