We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various tasks related to case management, document preparation, and client communication. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of legal documents.
Conduct thorough research on legal issues and case law relevant to ongoing cases.
Review and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for attorneys.
Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for cases.
Maintain effective communication with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
Provide clerical support including data entry, document management, and correspondence.
Support litigation processes by preparing trial materials and exhibits as needed.
Collaborate on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal projects.
Experience
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with securities law is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively.
Proficient in document review and management practices.
Experience with paralegal duties is advantageous.
Excellent interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients.
Demonstrated project management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
