We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with 6+ years of litigation experience to manage cases from inception through trial and appeal.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate cases from initial stages through trial and appeal.
- Serve as first or second chair in trials, hearings, and mediations.
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
- Review and analyze medical records, discovery, and expert reports.
- Research, brief, and present complex legal issues persuasively.
- Appear regularly in court and advocate zealously for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in Texas, in good standing.
- 6+ years of litigation experience, including trial preparation or first-chair participation.
- Exceptional legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and case management systems.
- Must successfully complete standard firm screening procedures.
