The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of experience in handling litigation cases, including landlord-tenant disputes, eviction processes, and lender defense litigation. Duties:
Manage a full caseload of real estate litigation matters from initiation through trial
Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes, evictions, and lender defense cases
Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery
Develop case strategies, engage in negotiations, and advocate on behalf of clients in court
Maintain thorough knowledge of California Civil Procedures, along with any relevant changes to state and federal laws
Stay updated on regulations related to landlord-tenant law, eviction procedures, and non-judicial foreclosures
Provide clients with practical legal advice and strong representation in a variety of real estate matters
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on landlord-tenant, eviction, and lender defense cases
Demonstrated ability to handle cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and court appearances
Expertise in California Civil Procedure
In-depth understanding of landlord-tenant law and eviction procedures in California
Ability to interpret and apply changes in state and federal laws, such as CA HO Â and foreclosure processes
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Skills:
Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience
Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to case management
Strong negotiation and client-facing skills
