Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Attorney to join our Pittsburgh-based legal team, with some flexibility for remote work. The Attorney will play a key role in supporting litigation efforts, attending depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with senior attorneys on complex legal cases, prepare legal documents, conduct research, and manage client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of litigation, including attending depositions, hearings, and trials.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
Prepare and review legal documents.
Conduct thorough legal research to support ongoing cases.
Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to client satisfaction.
Manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced legal environment.
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania bar.
Insurance defense experience, particularly in highway/truck cases, is highly preferred.
Prior litigation experience, especially in civil matters, is advantageous.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Ability to handle competing priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to foster professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Familiarity with legal research tools and resources.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
A keen interest in further developing expertise in civil litigation and insurance defense.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $70,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental, health, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with hybrid remote work options in Pittsburgh, PA (15219).
Experience:
Civil litigation experience (2-8 years preferred). Pennsylvania Bar Association License (Required).
