Job Description:
· Prepare and file Summons & Complaints in commercial debt litigation cases.
· Draft and argue motions for summary judgment and other key litigation documents.
· Collaborate with co-counsel to manage contested litigation and develop case strategy.
· Negotiate and prepare settlement agreements in compliance with state laws.
· Stay current on case law and legal precedent in state and federal courts that impact enforcement strategies.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
· Minimum three (3) years of experience in commercial debt litigation with a focus on merchant cash advance for small business lending enforcement.
· Deep familiarity with civil procedures rules
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
