Position Overview:
The Litigation Lawyer will assist with the performing of a variety of substantive, complex and routine legal activities with a commitment to legal excellence.
This position may be located at our head office in Mississauga or in our Toronto office. Responsibilities include, among others:
Provide Legal advice and guidance to clients on various matters.
Develop and implement legal strategies in
collaboration
with clients and other team members.
Independent carriage of files and
collaboration
on files with senior litigators.
Work with and supervise junior lawyers and students.
Represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings, while providing practical, cost-effective solutions. Support other firm practice areas.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/
Experience:
The following would be an asset:8+ years of good quality civil and commercial litigation experience.
