Our client is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join their Tampa office and contribute to their national-calibre, high-stakes litigation and trial practice. The Tampa team handles a diverse range of complex cases, including environmental & toxic tort, real estate & land use, white-collar matters, and commercial disputes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of seasoned attorneys on high-stakes litigation matters across multiple practice areas.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal arguments.
Represent clients in court proceedings and assist with trial preparation.
Strategically analyse cases to determine the best litigation and trial approaches.
Work closely with clients, providing thoughtful guidance and solutions to meet their goals.
Qualifications:
1 to 4 years of litigation experience in a high-calibre law firm or judicial environment.
A Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognised law school, graduating in the top 10% of your class.
Experience in law review, moot court, or a trial team.
Judicial clerkship experience (current or prior), preferably with a United States District Judge.
Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
