Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Title Searcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law along with excellent research and customer service skills. This role is essential in ensuring that all title searches are conducted thoroughly and accurately, providing critical information for real estate transactions.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive title searches to verify property ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances.
Analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, and tax records.
Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to assist in property research and mapping.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings from title searches for clients.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of real estate law.
Proven research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal documents.
Experience in customer service, preferably within a law office or title insurance.
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
