Description
Our client, a fully funded, large legal start-up, is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support attorneys and clients navigating Social Security Disability cases. This role involves managing legal project timelines, case filings, and client communications, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee case management workflows, tracking deadlines for Social Security Disability applications, hearings, and appeals.
Maintain and update calendars for attorneys and legal teams, ensuring timely case filings and compliance with court deadlines.
Coordinate internal resources (attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants) and external partners (medical experts, government agencies).
Monitor case progress, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to leadership.
Serve as the primary point of contact between legal teams and clients, ensuring seamless communication.
Identify operational risks and proactively suggest improvements to optimize case handling.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in legal project coordination, case management, or operations within a law firm or legal setting.
Strong organizational skills with experience in case tracking, calendaring, and deadline management.
Familiarity with case management software, ERP systems, or legal databases is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Bilingual (English & Spanish) required for effective client communication.
