Overview:
The Lead Analyst, Legal Systems is member of the legal team and works under the direction of the Senior Manager, Legal Systems with input from other senior members of the Legal team. The Lead Analyst, Legal Systems will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, executives, management, field personnel, clients, outside vendors, contractors and additional administrative support staff to support the organization’s integral operations relating to various legal projects. In addition, they will oversee workflow enhancements to improve productivity and efficiency. This includes independently preparing, reviewing, examining, managing, administering, analyzing, negotiating, or revising all types of contracts to determine workflow design, development, implementation, user acceptance testing and deployment plans. Such contracts may involve (i) the sale or purchase of products and services, (ii) transaction documents which could include the formation or transfer of different business interests and (iii) clinician employment and independent contractor agreements. They will manage relationships with internal and external clients. They will have the ability to handle complex legal issues, operating with significant independence and application of critical judgment under challenging timelines. The Lead Analyst will be considered the key liaison between the Legal team, Legal Systems Senior Manager, and other internal business teams, related to system platforms leveraged by the Legal department. The Lead Analyst will support platforms utilized by the legal department, including the data and technical aspects of the contract management process as it flows through the Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) platform to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency for Legal users. They will leverage Legal technology in order to stay abreast of optimization how Legal team prepares, reviews, examines, manages, administers, analyzes, negotiates, revises, and stores contracts and data to maintain Legal’s ecosystem across various business units. They will mentor team members with less experience and be considered a guide on PDS culture and policies.
Responsibilities
As the subject matter expert, properly train new and existing team members regarding Legal Department’s processes as they are enhanced or updated, including template configuration and maintenance and provide feedback to manager.
Maintain, enhance, support, direct and advise various electronic platforms (Alteryx, Docusign, Salesforce and Smartsheet) to assist paralegals and attorneys execute agreements.
Oversee issues that arise and troubleshoot, analyze, test, advise, design and direct support services for one or more applications relating to the Legal Department .
Oversee Legal department workflows and cross-functional processes and apply necessary changes to reach optimal efficiency.
Provides insights in determining departmental objectives for both long-term and short term goals.
Monitor, review, advise, direct, oversee and enhance data flow and contract management in the CLM platform, Salesforce, and cross-functional databases.
Serve as the legal department subject matter expert on frequently used technology platforms with a focus on Legal Department’s data and processes.
Represents department as a prime contact on projects with high visibility with key executives.
Manage technological aspects relating to legal department projects assigned to achieve efficient workflows and outputs, including but not limited to proof of concept designs, project requirements, prepare meeting minutes, evaluating operating systems, and consulting various internal and external partners.
Oversee the coordination with organization’s subject matter experts to understand and acquire approvals as the legal department’s or other attendant systems may impact other departments.
Maintain, create, prepare demos, and recordings with detailed knowledge materials (Standard Operating Processes (“SOPs”), user guides…etc.) of the development and maintenance of CLM, including, but not limited to, legal processes and the system’s interaction with Salesforce for all Legal’s technical processes.
Oversee communications relating to project deployments, SOPs and user guides for department applying enhancements or creating new processes as necessary.
Configure and apply enhancements to template management.
Organize and assign incoming requests and determine use cases to identify, recommend and manage business processes for the Legal Department.
Prepare and analyze data to generate ad hoc reports relating, but not limited to, to volume, productivity, statuses, current standing for various business teams within the organization.
Analyze, report and track trends to support data driven-driven recommendations to develop best practices and procedures.
Provide mentorship with less experienced team members.
Perform other duties or conduct special projects as may be assigned from time to time.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Legal Systems and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Legal, Contract Management, Information Technology or related fields. In lieu of degree 5+ years of experience in related field.
10+ years of related experience involving contract administration with commercial and corporate contracts utilizing contract management technology.
Of those, 8+ years of experience with Alteryx, Box, Smartsheet, Salesforce and Docusign CLM, SpringCM or similar contract lifecycle management system
Experience with managing all types of contracts relating to corporate transactions, employment and procurement.
Preferred
Master’s Degree, Professional Certification in Contract Management or Project Management.
Familiarity with Alteryx, Box, Power BI, JIRA, LucidChart Smartsheet, Mulesoft, and/or Litera is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, time management, judgment skills, and capable of working independently with minimal Manager and attorney oversight.
Ability to initiate, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising the quality of the work.
Ability to mentor less experienced team members
Ability to provide sound input on departmental goals both long term and short term goals
Ability to convey pertinent technical information and instructions to application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
Well versed in legal and corporate terminology.
Ability to develop cross-functional working relationships.
Ability to understand and present statements of fact, law and basic legal strategy clearly, logically and concisely in a business-friendly manner.

Salary Information: $103,000.00-$133,000.00 / Annually
