Job Description:

Action Law Offices, S.C. is seeking an experienced, detailed-oriented personal injury Litigation Paralegal to join our full-time legal team. As a critical member of our litigation team, you will work directly with attorneys handling injury cases through all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities:

Maintain an understanding of local, state and federal court rules and filing requirements.
Draft accurate pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
Maintain the attorney calendar, including scheduling depositions, mediations and monitoring court deadlines.
Electronic filing of pleadings and other documents.
Document/record organization and tracking.
Timely processing and management of ingoing/outgoing discovery requests and responses.
Medical records review and summarization.
Legal investigation/research as needed (proper parties, deed checks, etc).

Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum 3 years of litigation experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to review and summarize medical records
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail in document management and filing
Superior written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in MSOffice, Adobe Acrobat required. Experience with Filevine case management software helpful.
