What We’re Looking For
Are you a contract wizard who loves the art of drafting? A strategic negotiator who knows how to get deals done without unnecessary friction? We need a Licensing Counsel with outstanding drafting skills, who builds relationships with clients and counter parties, astutely balances legal risk with business objectives, and understands the importance of being responsive and expeditious.

What You’ll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, licensing agreements, software licenses, tech transfer deals, and strategic partnerships.
Manage contract workflows efficiently, ensuring deals close on time and our client’s quarterly revenue goals stay on track.
Be super responsive and efficient.
Stay ahead of legal and regulatory trends.
Provide strategic risk assessments and guide clients on licensing approaches that fuel their growth.
What You Bring
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
5+ years of experience in commercial contracting, technology transactions, or licensing—law firm or in-house experience.
Ability to interact directly with clients and opposing counsel.
A strong track record of handling high-volume contracts with a focus on revenue-driven deadlines.
Razor-sharp drafting and negotiation skills with an eye for detail.
An understanding of privacy law and new laws impacting A.I. companies. Ability to negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
A collaborative mindset—friendly, pragmatic, and business-oriented.
Ability to work independently with support and feedback when needed.
In-house experience is highly desired, but not required.
