The Ford Agency is looking for a Library and Research Analyst for one of DC’s top international law firms. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Sciences with demonstrated experience working in information resource management, ideally in a legal or corporate library setting. Responsibilities Include:
Manage the information center’s programs and services; ensuring they remain consistent with the objectives of the firm
Conduct research for attorneys and legal staff
Summarize research and analysis into concise reports
Provide training to new hires on the knowledge management systems
Maintain and improve the electronic cataloging and resource systems
Qualifications Include:
Master’s Degree in Library Science
2+ years of research experience in a law firm or corporate library
Advanced MS Office skills
Experience with WYSIWYG web page editors
Outstanding organizational skills and communication abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of online research databases, electronic library systems, and legal terminology
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
