My client is a reputable Global Bank seeking a Legal Vice President based in Singapore. This role will focus heavily on private banking and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to the Private Bank and investment teams on structured notes and related investment products
- Advise on product structuring, documentation, and execution, ensuring alignment with Singapore regulatory and legal requirements
- Review, draft, and negotiate transactional and product documentation (e.g. term sheets, offering documents)
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across front office, compliance, risk, and operations
- Support regulatory queries and product approvals with MAS-focused considerations
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience in Private Banking
- Strong understanding of MAS regulations as they apply to private banking and investment products
- Commercial, pragmatic approach and ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
