We are a small civil litigation firm with offices in Northern and Southern California. With over 30 years of experience, we handle a broad range of civil cases statewide, delivering dedicated and effective legal services. We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our litigation team on a contract basis, providing high-quality legal support.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation. You will assist in handling ongoing litigation matters, collaborating with the team as needed, and providing expert legal support on a flexible, project-by-project basis.
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of civil litigation: pleadings, motions, discovery, trial prep.
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic advice to the firm.
Manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Provide updates on case progress and maintain meticulous documentation.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar license.
5+ years of civil litigation experience.
Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills.
Familiarity with remote working tools and legal technology.
