Job Title: Compliance Manager

Department: Legal

Reports to: General Counsel

Classification: Exempt (salary)

Position Summary:
The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs and policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to mitigate potential compliance issues. The Compliance Manager will also engage in training staff on compliance-related topics, monitor compliance trends, and work closely with various departments to ensure adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
Create, modify, update and implement the companys policies.
Develop risk management strategies.
Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
Design ongoing training programs for employees of the business.
Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
Advise the top management on business operations relating to investment, risks and any other policy development.
Assists various departments in hiring and onboarding efforts to remain compliant with regulations and laws
Ensures that programs adhere to current regulations and support the organizations strategic objectives.
Shuttle Operations Compliance: Oversee compliance with industry-specific regulations and requirements for shuttle operations.
Commercial Compliance: Assist in ensuring commercial operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business and ensure internal practices are aligned.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and prepare reports as needed for management and regulatory bodies.
Training and Support: Educate and train staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks and work with relevant teams to mitigate them.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Legal, and Finance, to ensure overall regulatory compliance.

Requirements and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role OR a minimum of 2 years in role(s) similar to this role
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong team building skills and ability to motivate others.
Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate.
Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary.

Ability to pass PMCs background check.
Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes.
