We are seeking a Part-Time Immigration Paralegal to join our quickly growing practice located in Paramus, New Jersey!
Prior Immigration experience and a Paralegal Certificate is preferred but not required. We are willing to fully train the right candidate! We are looking for an enthusiastic paralegal who is open to learning and is able to work both independently and as part of a splendid team. There is potential for the position to become full time (with benefits) and expand to work in our New York/New Jersey Worker’s Compensation department.
In-person office attendance is required during training but will transition to a hybrid working schedule.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Opening files and inputting information into DocketWise
2. Filling out USCIS forms and preparing applications
3. Research on current immigration issues and policies
4. Drafting motions and briefs
5. Attend meetings with clients
6. Corresponding with clients
7. Intake on new clients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
