Key Responsibilities:
Legal Coordination: Work with the internal legal team and external counsel on a range of issues, including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Entity Management: Oversee entity formations, dissolutions, name changes, and updates to corporate structure charts.
Corporate Records: Maintain and organize legal and corporate records with high attention to detail.
KYC Process: Assist with completing forms, managing structure charts, collecting documents, notarizations, apostilling, and addressing follow-up inquiries from counterparties.
Transaction Support: Coordinate with outside counsel to manage signature pages, organize transaction documents, and prepare closing binders.
Regulatory Filings: Track, draft, and contribute to SEC and other regulatory filings as needed.
General Support: Perform additional duties and tasks as requested to meet the dynamic needs of the legal team.
Qualifications:
2+ years of applicable legal or business law experience. Alternative investment industry or experence in a large law firm is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including workpapers to be relied upon by external parties.
Attention to detail, ability to multitask and give status updates to your team.
Proficiency when working with Excel.
