PT Indexim Coalindo, a coal mining company operating in Kutai Timur, East Kalimantan, is currently looking for a qualified and proactive Supervisor Legal to join our site operation team.
This role will be responsible for supporting legal matters across site operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal documents, providing legal opinions, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders related to legal and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle legal matters related to company operations, including legal disputes, claims, investigations, industrial relations matters, and potential litigation cases.
- Draft, review, and administer legal documents, agreements, contracts, correspondence, and other company legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions, legal advice, and risk analysis to support business and operational decisions.
- Monitor and provide updates on relevant Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly those related to mining operations.
- Ensure company activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required documents and support legal processes.
- Liaise with government institutions, external parties, vendors, and other stakeholders in relation to legal and administrative matters.
- Support the implementation of company policies, including compliance, HSE, and internal procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate the legal administration team to ensure tasks are completed effectively, accurately, and on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal function, or relevant legal role.
- Experience in the mining industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate law, contract law, employment/industrial relations matters, legal compliance, and general dispute resolution processes.
- Having completed PKPA is preferred.
- Advocate oath / licensed advocate will be an advantage.
- Strong legal drafting, legal research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, proactive, and able to work in a site-based environment.
- Willing to be placed at Site Kaliorang, Kutai Timur – East Kalimantan with site roster arrangement.
