Job Summary:
The Legal Specialist will provide legal support and advice to the company, review and draft contracts, manage legal disputes and litigation, and ensure compliance with applicable Saudi laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts and agreements, particularly logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier, and customer agreements.
- Represent the company and manage cases before courts, judicial, and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, responses, and objections.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments.
- Manage financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes, and legal settlements.
- Review violations and complaints, conduct internal investigations, and provide legal recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the logistics and transportation sector.
- Prepare periodic legal reports and maintain accurate records of contracts and cases.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
- Previous experience in a logistics, transportation, or supply chain company.
- Strong experience in contract drafting and review, litigation, and case management.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations relevant to the logistics and transportation sector, particularly the Land Transport Law and its implementing regulations, Civil Transactions Law, Commercial Courts Law, Evidence Law, Enforcement Law, Labor Law, Commercial Maritime Law, and applicable customs regulations.
- Good knowledge of the Najiz platform and other relevant government platforms.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good command of English, particularly for reviewing contracts and handling legal correspondence.
- A valid Saudi legal practice license is an advantage.
