Role: Legal Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Jurisdictional Law
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to the respective jurisdiction.
- Review and validate legislation, regulations, legal documents, and related content for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify relevant legal sources, government websites, and official publications.
- Review legislative updates, amendments, and newly published legal materials.
- Validate legal terminology, document structure, citations, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Support quality assurance and provide expert feedback on legal content.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with the laws and regulations of one or more of the specified jurisdictions.
- Legal background such as LLB, LLM, JD, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in legal research, legislation review, regulatory compliance, or legal content validation.
- Familiarity with official government/legal databases and primary legal sources.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
- Prior experience working with legal publishers, legal research, or regulatory content would be an advantage.
