Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Specialist, you will support a broad range of legal activities and work closely with business stakeholders on day-to-day matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to stakeholders and senior management
- drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- monitoring legal and regulatory developments and communicating relevant changes internally
- conducting legal research (e.g. data privacy, intellectual property, compliance, industry regulations)
- supporting dispute-related matters
- contributing to process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency
Key Experiences And Behaviours
- University degree in Law
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with exposure to commercial and corporate matters
- Strong experience in commercial contract law, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements
- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks, propose solutions and defend legal positions
- Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain legal matters clearly to non-lawyers
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office, including strong PowerPoint skills
- High level of initiative, ownership and accountability
- Experience in an international or matrix organization, FMCG or regulated industry is an advantage, but not required
